We kindly ask parents to pay special attention to ensuring their children have the correct equipment as listed below. The unique and exciting activities at the camp require appropriate gear to be enjoyable and not tiring for the children. Backpacks and shoes not designed for mountain activities may even lead to injuries.

Luggage:

  • Large backpack or duffel bag (not a suitcase)
  • Hiking backpack (35–45 liters) for activities (not school bags)
  • We recommend that children bring no more than one large piece of luggage, as they will not fit inside the tents.

For Sleeping:

  • Sleeping bag, ideally Comfort: +8°C, Limit: +3°C (not a summer/beach sleeping bag)
  • Flashlight with spare batteries
  • 2 single sheets, 2 pillowcases, and a pillow

Clothing:

  • 1 pair of athletic shoes
  • 1 pair of hiking boots for greater safety and comfort during hikes
  • 1 pair of water shoes or sandals like Teva or sports shoes (No flip-flops)

Sportswear:

  • T-shirts (short-sleeved), shorts, long sweatpants, and sweatshirts
  • Underwear, cotton socks, and pajamas
  • Fleece or warm sweater
  • Waterproof and windproof jacket

For Excursions:

  • Hat
  • Water bottle (1 liter)
  • Sunscreen with high SPF (for face and body)
  • Lip balm
  • Swimsuit

PersonalHygiene:

  • Personal hygiene items (2 towels), beach towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shampoo, and shower gel
  • Laundry bag

Optional:

  • Sunglasses
  • Musical instruments

Children are not allowed to bring:

  • Valuable items
  • Electronic games
  • Sharp or dangerous objects (e.g., knives, pocket knives, lighters)
  • Large sums of money (we recommend no more than €50)
  • Sweets and foods that can spoil
  • Flip-flops
